Well, we skipped a week there due to some technical difficulties. Our propane greenhouse heater wasn’t cooperating and we lost a few of our first starts to the cold. Fortunately, we switched to electric and are back on track this week!
Now that we have the temperature under control the greenhouse is really filling up. We constructed some shelves with inexpensive materials for our starts and we are already running out of space on them.
Since we are running short on space and the existing greenhouse is looking a little rough anyway, we have decided to construct a new, larger house. Materials should be arriving this week and we will be recording the process of building our new hoophouse and preparing the garden for spring.
