We have been planting more and more greens in the greenhouse as we continue our pursuit of the earliest possible salad greens.
Planting our starts into larger pots of the same coco coir growing medium gives us an easy to maintain and cost-effective method of quickly growing a crop of salad greens inside our greenhouse using our own Blend fertilizer. The plants are staying healthy using our fertilizer and the house is staying warm despite some very cold nights.
Fortunately the hoop house continues to keep our greens safe and warm even as this unexpected storm buries it in snow.
