The weather has finally warmed up and almost all the snow has melted. Our plants appear to be doing just fine both inside and outside the row cover. A few of the little kale and lettuce plants inside did get smashed down a little by the snow, but they should have no trouble bouncing back. Salad greens like these are extremely tough and cold hardy plants.
Meanwhile, our hydroponic lettuce crop inside the hoophouse is doing well and producing full heads of lettuce and bunches of kale using our Gardner Cultivation Blend fertilizer.
